The Solutions to Coastal Disasters Conference 2008
The Coasts, Oceans, Ports, and Rivers Institute (COPRI) of ASCE is pleased to present the Solutions to Coastal Disasters Conference 2008, which will be held at the Turtle Bay Resort, in Onahu, Hawaii, April 13 - 16, 2008.
Conference topics will focus on the data gleaned from the study of coastal disasters, as well as highlighting the tools used to collect such data, possible engineering solutions and policy-oriented management efforts to minimize the impact of coastal disasters.
Conference topics will focus on science, tools, management challenged and solutions to a range of coastal hazards including:
